Xtava's Pro-Satin Infrared Straightener 

I usually go back and forth between straightening my hair and curling it (when I do actually style my hair instead of my standard ponytail) so when I was offered the chance to review Xtava's Pro-Satin Infrared Straightener - Professional Flat Iron with Tourmaline Ceramic Plates I jumped on it, lol

As with the Xtava Allure hair dryer, the first thing you notice is the GORGEOUS packaging! The Pro-Satin Straightener comes in a glorious matte finish black box that I just can't bring myself to toss...it's really THAT pretty, lol. Inside the box you'll find a zippered pouch and when I opened it I found my MOST favorite feature of the whole thing....a heat proof lining!! I can't even tell you how many times I've wanted to straighten my hair while away over night but didn't want to deal with transporting a hot flat iron!

The body of the straightener is very sleek and soft to the touch. It heats up super fast...0 to 350 degrees in 35.8 seconds!! And speaking of heat the instructuion manual includes a chart stating what temperature is best for what type of hair.....apparently, my "high as it can go" method isn't correct, lol! The temperature and power buttons are hidden on the inside of the handle to nicely maintain the sleek design of the straigthener.

As I started straightening my hair I couldn't believe how smooth it travelled over the hair...nothing like the old straightener I used which pulled out the odd hair or 3 on the way down!

This is definitley my favorite of all of the products that I have reviewed and it will get a lot of use in
my household for sure!!
